The Urban Conversion was recently invited to the White House, to learn about the White House garden, and what is being done on a federal level to educate the nation on eating healthy. This is a message that is being passed to adults and children alike.
Being invited to the White House is a tremendous opportunity, which will allow us to work with White House Chef Sam Kass, and educate our audience about urban agriculture at the highest level. Our staff is very excited about this opportunity and ready to bring a tremendous show to the PBS audience. In order to produce the show, we are looking to raise $20,000. This covers the hard costs associated with the full production, from travel, to videography to the final edit. We have assembled a crew of incredible professionals to bring this one-hour special episode of the program to life.
